Perennial Interiors is proud to collaborate with Bachay Companies, a Washington, DC–area real estate development and construction company led by owner, developer, and general contractor Jessica Bachay. With experience spanning historic renovations, residential additions, new construction, and real estate development, Bachay brings a construction-focused perspective that complements Perennial's approach to thoughtful, highly detailed interior design. 

Our relationship is rooted in the belief that the strongest residential projects happen when design and construction are considered together from the beginning. Working collaboratively, Jessica and Lari are able to bridge creative vision with real-world constructability—evaluating layouts, architectural details, materials, finishes, budgets, and field conditions as interconnected parts of the same project rather than isolated decisions. 

Through our collaboration, Perennial can work alongside Bachay throughout the design and construction process—from early concept development and finish specification through procurement, field coordination, and construction administration. This integrated approach gives homeowners a more cohesive experience while allowing design intent to remain present as a project moves from drawings into the field.

Jessica's experience in development and construction brings an understanding of sequencing, feasibility, and execution, while Perennial contributes interior architecture, materiality, FF&E, detailing, and the layers that ultimately make a house feel personal.
